Pine Lodge at Holmbush, now part of Duchy College.
Originally the home of Mr & Mrs R H J Clemo, the garden has enjoyed decades of having seeds sent to Mr Clemo from all over the world by fellow enthusiasts. The Garden centre sells plants raised on site, and the arboretum has some truly amazing specimens in it. We just wish we had the room to grow some. Brilliant value. Time 4 hours
Hidden Valley Gardens at
Treesmill is a splendid private garden, open 10.00 to 18.00 except Tues & Weds. They raise
their own nursery stock and it is advantageously priced. The bog garden and
replanted orchards are good. Time 1 ½ hours. Map available in Flat. A Hidden
treasure!
Marsh Villa Gardens, Par.
3 acres of garden featuring a large pond, stream and bog garden. Wheelchair
friendly. Time 2 hours
We're also quite proud of the Hunnypot garden but that is only for the benefit of guests.
